Cool Off That Porch!
When summer hits and you have a metal roofed porch, you can get immediate relief by laying single ply membrane pieces over the metal. Check the temp difference and it’s obvious the difference it can make!
An Unusual Find
A few years ago we were re-roofing a home and discovered something very unusual. Our infrared camera was somewhat new and we took it everywhere to “show and tell”. While inside the living room and pointing toward the ceiling, Jac happened on a “hot spot”…what is THAT? After lots of questions, Jac went up on the roof to investigate. He disassembled the roof deck and uncovered a large wasp nest! Their heat signature was a mere 1 degree difference from the surrounding area (inside the living room!) We were all impressed at the sensitivity of the equipment.
Hot Air Ballooning
In the fall, the local balloon captain happens to fly his balloon right over our property. It was just too tempting…we HAD to see how hot his air was!
